Here's My Story

Okay hi. I don't really know how to start this without it sounding like a school introduction, so I'm just going to talk to you like a normal person. I'm Channie — a bubbly, big-hearted girl who doesn't really know how to do things halfway. When I love something, I love it fully, loudly, and without apology. That's just how I'm wired.

I grew up as a pastor's kid. Faith was always in the house — in the conversations, in the music, in the way my family lived. But somewhere along the way, it stopped being just something I inherited and became something I actually chose. That shift changed everything for me.

"I love the Lord — not just in the good seasons. In the hard, messy, confusing ones too."

And trust me, there have been hard seasons. I'm navigating life with God in real time — the highs that make you cry happy tears, the lows that bring you to your knees, and the quiet in-between where you're just trying to hold on and trust. I'll probably talk about all of it here, because I think honesty is way more helpful than pretending everything is always fine.

Outside of that — I am a reader, a singer, a cook, a dancer, and someone who finds absolute joy in a really good meal. I love adventure too, but let me be clear: not the jump-out-of-a-plane kind. The fun kind. New places, new food, getting a little lost, and laughing about it on the way home. That's my version of a good time, and I'm not ashamed of it.
